Kids Help Phone
(For those under 30 years old) Obtain mental health services from Kids Help Phone anywhere in Canada by calling toll-free at 1-800-668-6868 or by texting 686868 any time (24/7) or through online chat 7 PM and midnight. This resource is for young Canadians aged 5 to 29 seeking confidential and anonymous care from professional counsellors and is available in French and English. Consult their directory to find physical or virtual support programs and services available to kids, teens and young adults across Canada.
Hope for Wellness Helpline
The Hope for Wellness Helpline is available to all Indigenous people across Canada. Experienced and culturally competent counsellors are reachable by phone 1-855-242-3310 (toll-free) and online ‘chat’ any time (24/7). Counsellors can also help you find specific support services in your community or area. Telephone and chat counselling services are available in English and French.
Black Youth Helpline
Black Youth Helpline serves all youth and is a point of contact for professional services. Service in French and other languages is available upon request. To initiate a request for support by calling toll-free 1-833-294-8650 every day from 9am to 10pm.
Trans Lifeline
Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for trans and questioning individuals. You can talk to a trained operator by calling any time (24/7) 1-877-330-6366. Services are also offered in French and Spanish.

Youthspace.ca
Youthspace.ca is a free crisis support line for youth 30 and under across Canada. You can access services through online chat or through text 778-783-0177. The support line is open every day from 6pm to midnight PST, and each chat is one-to-one with a trained volunteer working with the support of staff members.

Reach Out is a free, 24/7, confidential mental health and addictions support and services line for people living in Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford and London. They offer services by phone 1-866-933-2023 (or 519-433-2023), by text message 519-433-2023 or through web chat in French or English.
Crisis Line
Access mental health crisis services by professionally trained responders by calling 613-722-6914 (within Ottawa) or toll-free 1-866-996-0991 0991 (outside Ottawa). Crisis line provides services to people living in the City of Ottawa, Renfrew County, the United Counties of Prescott & Russell, the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, and Akwesasne. Services are offered in French and in English.
Youth Line
LGBT YouthLine is a *2SLGBTQ+ youth-led organization that affirms and supports the experiences of youth (29 and under) across Ontario. The Helpline is accessible Sunday to Friday (4pm to 9:30pm) by text message 647-694-4275 and online chat. Services are provided in English.
The Alberta Health Services Mental Health Help Line

Distress Center Calgary
Distress Centre provides 24 hour crisis support by phone, text 403-266-HELP (403-266-4357https://distresscentre.com/24-hour-crisis-support/) to Calgary and southern Alberta. Anyone can contact Distress Centre to speak with a highly trained responder and receive emotional support.
The Crisis Center of BC
The Crisis Center offers support any time (24/7) by phone 1-800-784-2433 (1-800-SUICIDE). The phone line is available in over 140 languages using a language service.
QCHAT
A peer support line and resource database for 2SLGBTQ+ youth in British Columbia, Canada. You can reach them by an online chat with a peer support volunteer, by texting 250-800-9036 or by calling toll-free 1-855-956-1777. Their phone, text, and online chat lines are open from 6 to 9 pm, all nights except Friday.

Northwest Territories Help Line
Receive mental health crisis support by calling, anytime (24/7), toll-free, 1-800-661-0844. Trained responders are waiting to help you and can speak with you in English or French. You can also call to request translating services in all the Northwest Territories’s official languages.
