<\/p>\n

Chemstory <\/em>is a community-based research project that provides participants with training in podcasting to support them in producing a podcast episode to share their experiences with chemsex. The aim of the project is to build knowledge and stimulate reflections and conversations about chemsex and its challenges.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Chemstory <\/em>is currently accepting applications for its Community Advisory Board (CAB). CAB members will play a vital role throughout the study by providing guidance on various aspects of the project, including recruitment, the podcasting workshops, data analysis and knowledge mobilization. By their involvement, they will contribute to destigmatizing chemsex and advocate for appropriate health and harm reduction services for individuals who have chemsex.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We are looking for people who identify as 2S\/GBQ+ (Two-Spirit or non-binary individuals or gay, bisexual, queer and trans men) with personal experience of chemsex (past or present) to form the CAB. We are particularly interested in hearing the perspectives of trans and non-binary people, Indigenous and racialized people, people living with HIV, and people living outside major urban centers. No previous research experience is necessary. The committee will meet virtually (on Zoom) every three months.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Each CAB member will be compensated $150 per meeting. The meetings will last 90 minutes and be held in English.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Those interested in being part of the Chemstory <\/em>CAB can express their interest by sending a letter or an audio or video file to introduce themselves, demonstrating their motivation, interest and experience with chemsex (personal or community experience).<\/p>\n

Chemstory <\/em>is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and led by Olivier Ferlatte, professor at L\u2019\u00c9cole de Sant\u00e9 Publique de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al and Director of the research laboratory Qollab. Chemstory is produced in collaboration with various community groups offering services to the 2S\/GBTQ+ communities.<\/p>\n
